Last week saw TMPR busily attending and exhibiting at two great events on behalf of Define Fine – Design Travel Guides. The first event of the week was with IMM Travmedia and we met with over 20 different travel journalists for various publications from Fabulous magazine to The Daily Telegraph and Luxury magazine – Sphere.
The setting for IMM Travmedia was in the stunning location of Queen Elizabeth Conference opposite Westminster Abbey
IMM Travmedia is always an excellent day for networking with new contacts, hearing travel freelancers new commissions and need for content and stories. Our client at Travmedia was Luxury Design Travel Guides, Define Fine – and as part of the PR launch campaign we talked through the set of Design City travel Guides, the new ‘Komodo National Park’ Photography books and stunning photography collection of images from around the globe by travel photographer Nikola Kostic in ‘The Worlds’
The day started early with lots of appointments set throughout the day and interested journalists passing by asking questions about the new books and destinations covered. In total we had 20 journalist media meetings across the course of the day, and some great results and interest in the new books and collection sets of Define Fine.
Talking Define Fine
This event for IMM Travmedia saw 275 travel journalists attend the event and 270 exhibitors speaking to press on the one day.
Define Fine were included in the IMM Travmedia brochure, which many press take after the event and use for ongoing story or content contacts with PRs.
Tuesday 14 March – Thursday 16 March at Olympia London, saw us take The Define Fine Travel Guides across London to the London Book Fair – to meet with distributors, bookstores and publishers who also distribute over the 3 days and this was a very productive event for our client.
Over the course of the 3 days TMPR and Define Fine held over 30 meetings with influential distributors such as Gardeners and Ingrams all excited to hear about the books first series of Design Travel Guides and what the future holds for the second series of guides in 2017.
